Review Morrigan by Laura DeLuca

Book Description

November 8, 2012
Shuffled from place to place in the foster system, Morrigan doesn't know the meaning of home. Plus, she is different. She has power over fire, the ability to move objects with her mind, and glimpse into the future. Just when she believes her life can’t get any stranger, she discovers her true identity.

Filtiarn, a knight with a dark past and a surprising secret, has been tasked with guiding the heir of Tír na NÓg through countless perils to be returned to her family. Once Morrigan has been reunited with her mother and grandmother, their triad can save the forgotten land of magic from being devoured by an ancient evil.

                                                                  My Review:

Morrigan is a orphan (she thinks) and very unhappy, swapped between foster homes with most times not to nice foster parents. She is bullied in school, she knows she is special and not like others, because she does have special powers that she learned mostly to control. At her 17th year, she is hearing someone calling her name,  one morning when she showered it is stronger then ever and a woman appears in the fog of her mirror. it appears to be her birth mothers who begs her to help and says she would send someone to bring her to her and to protect her,

The Minute Morrigan lays her eyes on Tiarn she knows it is him, she has been dreaming about him whole her life, and she drew him. She draws a lot and is good at it. She goes with Tairn without to must thinking and follows him into Tir na NOg another world completely  full with witches, guardians, were wolves and Fae. A world with fresh air, green grass and so untouched still.

Along the travel to her mother, Morrigan has to fight her way there, meets Alden a old man that knew her dad and many more things, when she arrives the castle she helps setting her mother and grandmother free from the Evil Witch, her aunt........... BUT  is she really??? something Morrigan quickly realizes that things are not what they seem, will she be on time to still set things right and to save her world......... go read for yourself .....

I Gave this book 4 stars, because somethings were repeated a few times as Morrigan refuses to see that a Lycan is dangerous once tranfered into a wolf, it is then a a predator that will attack you no matter what. to name one example, but besides all that a overall good book! I lliked it..

INCREDIBLE DREAMS is the story of a modern-day ghost whisperer who travels through time to save the life of a WWII fighter pilot and ends up jeopardizing her own existence. Izzy Miller prefers to call herself a spiritual therapist because she thinks it makes her sound more professional than plain old ghost-whisperer. She expects her latest project to be quick and easy because exorcising military personnel is pretty routine. But there's nothing easy or routineabout Captain Jack Baker--he's a rather forgetful spirit and somewhat mischievous. And even though he's intrigued by the US Government's latest attempt to remove him from the only place he can ever remember being...he has no intentions of going anywhere. Plans to exorcise Jack are quickly sidelined when Izzy discovers a portal into the past inside her dreams and sets out to change his fate. Trouble is...when she gets back there, she can't remember anything but her name. She still sees ghosts, but is far less accepting of her gift. And, to make matters worse, a demonic force pretending to be the forgetful heroine's sister has her own plans--to steal Izzy's soul. Kindle / Paperback

She has no other choice but to fight, leading her to a confrontation that will change her world forever - and threaten to leave her with broken promises.

My Review:

Bri is very in love with Quin and she was so looking forwards to their date night, a;though it started out good, it went all so wrong a little later. Quin suddenly gets very angry, something he never did before and he scares Bri, a second later he all apologetic and tells her he had no clue what happened. He is hoorified that he had hurt her, Bri knows it is not like him , he is loving and so gentle with her, they decide to forget about it and still go out, ..... then it happens again while watching the movie, as matter a fact most people seem to be angry and violent.

They find out that the Fae are behind it and cast a sell over human kind, to make them destroy them selfs mostly, Quin is totally infected, he tries to fight it and can stop himself enough to tell Bri to run and get as far away from him as she can.  When she calls her grandmother a little becomes clear, she tells Bri to go and find Noah a good friend of her, Bri goes and is almost attacked a few times, at the end a few get her, but she is saved by someone with a gentle touch and voice and brought to Noah. There she finds out more about her parents and family history, Bri is in shock to much to digest. Soon however she will fight with this group to save Earth.

They are no effected and try to find more people that are not, they fight against all violence that is going on all over the world, Quin keeps on stalking her, calling, sending text, they even met a few times and although she knows he is infected her body be trade her several times.
What will happen? will Bri keep on believing in Quin and stay loyal or will she go for the more gentle Liam.
A big evil event is coming up and if they will be on time to save human kind? that you have to read for yourself, Loved this book, it was hard to lay away! I highly recommend it.

Review" Phantom by Laura deLuca

Book Description

 March 29, 2012
The “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses “Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.

Rebecca lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured artist.

Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered. People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally be revealed.

                                     My Review:

Like Rebecca in the story, I too am a huge Phantom fan. I caught myself a few times singing the song lines, instead of reading.

Back to the book, Wow just wow, I loved it, I like the characters some a bit more then others. I like how the Phantom story and Laura's story entwine  it is amazing, there is so much happening in this book it will blow your mind.

I was very surprised with the ending never would have guessed it was this person that cost all accidents and even murders. GREAT book, I bet Phantom fans from all over the world will love it and any other too!

Well done Laura, well done!

Grade A Stupid Blast

Grade A StupidGrade A Stupid

Fifteen years ago, Darcy Walker’s parents thought it was a good idea to give her a unique name: Darcy, meaning “dark walker.” Whether that was a stroke of genius or stroke of stupid, they definitely nailed the irony. She lacks direction, her grades stink despite a high IQ, she’s boringly average--although flirting admirers claim otherwise--and God help her, she’s infatuated with a bad-boy. A bad-boy that her hottie best friend, Dylan, wishes would get acquainted with his fist. And, oh yeah, there’s that tattoo that was a royally stupid idea. With her life spiraling out of control, everything changes when she skips class and finds a dead body…in fact, it gets worse. It jump-starts Darcy’s inner-verb, and her AD/HD mind gets caught up in a situation she can’t let go. Set in the fictional Cincinnati town of Valley, Ohio, Darcy falls into a world of threats, violence, and gangland exploits, chasing down every clue to finger the murderer. When a fellow misfit is arrested for the crime, Darcy goes from zero-to-sixty trying to clear his name—constructing aliases, breaking the law, everything that makes perfect sense to her, but reeks of Grade A Stupid to everyone else. Trouble is…will she live to see 16? Follow Author A.J. Lape Website | Twitter

A DOG finds his true purpose—when he disobeys.

As September races the clock, the body count swells. Shadow does his good-dog duty but can’t protect his boy. Finally September and Shadow forge a stormy partnership to rescue the missing and stop the nightmare cure. But can they also find the lost parts of themselves?

My Review:

September Day is a animal trainer and pretty good at her job, she moved back to Texas after her husband a police officer got killed.
She locks herself pretty much u in her house when she is working on her item in a radio show (gives advise for pets) her phone keeps on calling, she ignores it and then her sister calls the studio phone line in panic telling her that Steven (her autistic nephew run away with his puppy)

September pretty much leaves the show and her house in a hurry to find her nephew. She finds out her sister is in trouble and people get killed around her. Will she be on time to fidn her nephew ans his puppy before they are frozen in the bitter cold snow weather.

She has 24 hours, while dead bodies pile up and she is often so close but still doesn't have them. Will Lizzy the criminal brain win and get them all killed for her goal? That is for you to find out!

I personally love the book, I love September, I love the puppy who is trained by September to protect her nephew and bring his home.

You feel see and read it from Adult point of view, the autistic boy and the puppy I loved every minute with this book!

                                                                 My Review:

When she finds out Cole is in trouble because of a mistake she made, she does everything needed to get him free. Even when it means meeting up with dark ones and worse make deal with them.

When she is on the mission to safe Cole her human she is supposed to protect gets attacked and is in very bad shape. Then her Archangel warns her to come clear and has been given a second change to redeem herself and get all powers back, which will mean she can cure Caitlyn too.

What will she do, who will she safe, torn with guild she has choices to make and if it is all worth it at the end, I suggest read it, it i worth it, I love Selene and Luke 2 great characters.
