Review: Rhuna, The Star Child: Sequel to Rhuna: Crossroads (Rhuna Fantasy Book 3) by Barbara Underwood

Rhuna, The Star Child is the thrilling sequel to Rhuna: Crossroads, and is the third book in the Rhuna Fantasy Books series, but each book can also be read as a standalone novel.  Rhuna, the Star Child is set in mystical Ancient Egypt where Black Magic was developed by the followers of the legendary villain, The Dark Master.   As strange and frightening curses plague the population, Rhuna discovers the underground organization that performs this uncanny new magic, but she can only combat it with the help of her long-lost father.   Having learned from her father amazing new skills to empower her on the Astral Plane, Rhuna once again strives to preserve peace and harmony in the idyllic Atlan civilization.
Far more challenging than fighting powerful Dark Forces, however, is Rhuna’s personal anguish when her daughter becomes involved with the leader of the Black Magic movement, and the once-perfect Atlan society based on utopian principles begins to crumble all around her.  Shocking events escalate Rhuna’s world to a breathless climax as she and her family undergo a momentous upheaval, and she is forced to make great personal sacrifices for her loved ones.

My Review:

This is the third book in the Rhuna series, I adore these books, Rhuna is a smart woman and now a mother herself and is fighting the dark master with her fathers help. The dark group is using black magic and tortures the people plagues.

Several years has past since book 2 and Rhuna is watching her daughter in the gazing of the waters. She is seeing her daughter is following her, or is she?
This book is another great addition to the series, I love how they are written, I love the characters, although you can read this alone, I strongly advise to read the other two books as well they are amazing too.

Happy Chasing Happy by Jerome "Jay" Isip

happy chasing happy tour banner Screen Shot 2016-02-09 at 6.37.32 PMThough Jerome "Jay" Isip now enjoys the success of being a professional MMA fighter, entrepreneur, and author, he is no stranger to the feelings of self-doubt, depression, and lack of direction that many people-- young and old, male and female-- struggle with at one point or another in life. This candid, autobiographical book tells of MMA fighter and accomplished champion Jerome Jay Isip's journey to find his identity and his own version of "happy" in early adulthood through self-destructive means like alcohol, a myriad of drugs, and other risky behavior, and how he pulled himself back from the edge of the abyss, finding the courage to live a life of clarity and purpose after discovering what true, lasting happiness in life is all about.

About the author:

Screen Shot 2016-02-09 at 6.28.32 PMJerome "Jay" Isip is a successful entrepreneur within several walks of life - finance, small business, e-stock trading, and athletics. Born and raised in Belleville, New Jersey, Jay was never one for academics. Rather than concentrating on coursework, he was instead distracted by the typical trappings other young men endure. Jay has always been more interested in enjoying life and those around him, which isn't going to get anyone accepted at a credible college or university. Even still, through all the self-destructive means and risky roller coaster of behavior, Jay stayed determined to choose his own career path, which would eventually lead him to becoming a business owner, a professional "mixed-martial arts" fighter. And now he has added the title of "author" to the list.

Cover Reveal When We Were Us by Tawdra Kandle

WWWUCover Reveal 1   The Trio. That’s who we’ve been since birth: Nate, Leo . . . and me, Quinn, the token girl. Our mothers met in prenatal yoga and became best friends, which meant that the three of us hit every milestone together, from the first day of school to the very first kiss. We’ve always known that Nate’s a little different. He’s not as strong as Leo or me; he spent a lot of our childhood in various hospitals. Leo and I have been his unofficial bodyguards all our lives. I thought that would always be true. But time moves on, and everything shifts. People change, and sometimes friendships fade away. High school pulled us apart: Leo’s suddenly the most popular guy in school, a football star and the object of every girl’s fantasy. Nate and I are just people he used to know, the ones he left behind. Of course, since I’ve been in love with Leo from the time we were eight, that stings a little. And to complicate matters, I know that Nate is hung up on me. I see the look in his eyes. I wish I could say I felt the same, but I don’t. It's getting harder and harder to keep him in the friend zone, though. Then Leo and I were thrown together again, sticking up for Nate. I was surprised Leo came through for us and even more shocked when he kissed me. Me! Am I finally getting my chance with Leo . . . and will it come at the risk of losing both my best friends?

The Keeping Score Trilogy is a New Adult romance told in three books, taking Leo, Quinn and Nate from high school through college. Books One and Two will have unresolved endings; you have been warned. But I promise, the happily-ever-after in Book Three will be the payoff. Trust me.

The biggest asset you have in blessing your home is teaching your children to love their home and bless it with you. I have raised, educated, and graduated two of our six children from our homeschool. Both of them are currently working full-time and running their own homes. Each of them has thanked me for teaching them how to care for a home and helping them to be prepared for adulthood.
