My Review:
I loved this book, Hollywood is no more, all the fake people gone. All diets, pills, plastic surgery, creme and any other alternations have result in monsters. they are still human but in their monster shape they killed lots of people, the story picks up with the new encampment New Have 56, where everything goes by rules and under pressure of the NH police. they are cruel to the people there, when they say something they don't like they are taken away and most times not see or heard from anymore.
Glistening hunter Jenna, brings in new Glistenings, the police in 56 don't trust Jenna still after what she did. Besides the chief, he is still a believer in Jenna who is one of the best hunters. When he and his family get killed Jenna investigates it but they work against her. She is even stopped. Jenna wouldn't be Jenna if she would let that stop her, for any costs she will bring the chiefs killer(s) to justice. All points towards police and higher, and Jenna plus her team go wild and escape custody to find the chief's daughter and reveals what is going on.
