Taming the Wolf by Stephanie Nelson

Book Description

Attacked by a wolf while hiking, Anna Avery's life just got a little hairier. Living in the Big Horn mountains in Wyoming, with a group of werewolves who are more animal than human, Anna must try to hold onto her human side. It's not easy when the alpha continues to persuade her into his bed, while another wolf is chomping at the bit to become her mate. To top it all off, dead bodies are showing up and it just so happens that Anna was the last to see them alive. She'll have to work to prove her innocence and taming the wolf who bites first and asks questions never. This book is not intended for readers under 18.

My Review:

Anna is attacked when she hikes in the mountains by a wolf, it appears she changed into a werewolf, the Alpha of a group nearby finds her and helps her cope with the change in her live. She leaves the apartment she is in and lives on the groups compound. She feels strong feelings towards the Alpha, who only seems to notice her when she needs correction or punishments, He is mated to another female wolf, who is not so nice and loves her power as alpha female. Anna has a hard time learning to keep her wolf inside and  her human in control, She also has a hard time be completely submissive , when dead bodies appear, the heads turn towards Anna, because of her being the youngest and her problems with her wolf.

Her Alpha doesn't believe it is her and protects her all he can, and slowly becomes clear he and Anna are real mates. Anna has a real good friend in the pack and she is protective of her too, even though Anna still gets kidnapped and when she sees Adam with Eve and he is so hard and cold to her, she has serious doubts about the feeling Adam and she share, She is not sure how long she been tied up and held when she hears sounds of struggles,...... slowly it becomes clear what is going on, and if it all turns out to be well, is for you to find out when you read the book.

I love this story, it is well written and so keeps you in it, I read it in one day! I can't wait for the next book!!
