Book Description
Publication Date: October 12, 2012
What would you do if the man you loved became one of your greatest enemies? Would your love be enough to save him? All Bri wanted to do was spend her Friday night with the man she loved and adored. Little did she know leaving her home would result in her relationship with Quinn being tested beyond its limits. Fae have been organizing to invade Earth, and their devious plans are culminating now, colliding with Bri's very existence. Using a powerful glamour, the Fae trigger each person's violent tendencies, turning the streets into a battleground and strangers against each other. In a crushing blow, Quinn becomes affected and Bri finds herself battling to save her lover from himself as he stalks her relentlessly, taunting her at every turn. But fighting for her love isn't her only worry. As the battle ensues, Bri discovers a startling truth about her own heritage that she must come to terms with. She has no other choice but to fight, leading her to a confrontation that will change her world forever - and threaten to leave her with broken promises.

My Review:

Bri is very in love with Quin and she was so looking forwards to their date night, a;though it started out good, it went all so wrong a little later. Quin suddenly gets very angry, something he never did before and he scares Bri, a second later he all apologetic and tells her he had no clue what happened. He is hoorified that he had hurt her, Bri knows it is not like him , he is loving and so gentle with her, they decide to forget about it and still go out, ..... then it happens again while watching the movie, as matter a fact most people seem to be angry and violent.

They find out that the Fae are behind it and cast a sell over human kind, to make them destroy them selfs mostly, Quin is totally infected, he tries to fight it and can stop himself enough to tell Bri to run and get as far away from him as she can.  When she calls her grandmother a little becomes clear, she tells Bri to go and find Noah a good friend of her, Bri goes and is almost attacked a few times, at the end a few get her, but she is saved by someone with a gentle touch and voice and brought to Noah. There she finds out more about her parents and family history, Bri is in shock to much to digest. Soon however she will fight with this group to save Earth.

They are no effected and try to find more people that are not, they fight against all violence that is going on all over the world, Quin keeps on stalking her, calling, sending text, they even met a few times and although she knows he is infected her body be trade her several times.
What will happen? will Bri keep on believing in Quin and stay loyal or will she go for the more gentle Liam.
A big evil event is coming up and if they will be on time to save human kind? that you have to read for yourself, Loved this book, it was hard to lay away! I highly recommend it.

Review" Phantom by Laura deLuca

Book Description

 March 29, 2012
The “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses “Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.

Rebecca lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured artist.

Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered. People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally be revealed.

                                     My Review:

Like Rebecca in the story, I too am a huge Phantom fan. I caught myself a few times singing the song lines, instead of reading.

Back to the book, Wow just wow, I loved it, I like the characters some a bit more then others. I like how the Phantom story and Laura's story entwine  it is amazing, there is so much happening in this book it will blow your mind.

I was very surprised with the ending never would have guessed it was this person that cost all accidents and even murders. GREAT book, I bet Phantom fans from all over the world will love it and any other too!

Well done Laura, well done!

Since childhood, I made up fantastical characters and brought them to life. Part of it was to escape the turmoils of childhood and some were just for fun. Sitting beside my couch is a constant stack of history, biographies, and compelling fiction, which means I have many overloaded bookshelves. Wouldn't that be great to have a room just full of shelves? I would love to see a wave of outstanding, self-published authors take over the market. I think it's important to own your work and take pride in it. Writing several novels and short stories, I know the trials of writing and rejection. Constructive criticism can only make you better. Grade A Stupid Blast

Grade A StupidGrade A Stupid

Fifteen years ago, Darcy Walker’s parents thought it was a good idea to give her a unique name: Darcy, meaning “dark walker.” Whether that was a stroke of genius or stroke of stupid, they definitely nailed the irony. She lacks direction, her grades stink despite a high IQ, she’s boringly average--although flirting admirers claim otherwise--and God help her, she’s infatuated with a bad-boy. A bad-boy that her hottie best friend, Dylan, wishes would get acquainted with his fist. And, oh yeah, there’s that tattoo that was a royally stupid idea. With her life spiraling out of control, everything changes when she skips class and finds a dead body…in fact, it gets worse. It jump-starts Darcy’s inner-verb, and her AD/HD mind gets caught up in a situation she can’t let go. Set in the fictional Cincinnati town of Valley, Ohio, Darcy falls into a world of threats, violence, and gangland exploits, chasing down every clue to finger the murderer. When a fellow misfit is arrested for the crime, Darcy goes from zero-to-sixty trying to clear his name—constructing aliases, breaking the law, everything that makes perfect sense to her, but reeks of Grade A Stupid to everyone else. Trouble is…will she live to see 16? Follow Author A.J. Lape Website | Twitter
